Boronia Kebabs – Boronia

ree

What started as a dream in a small kebab shop has grown into one of Boronia’s most welcoming and well-loved eateries, Boronia Kebabs.

A passion turned into purpose

Owner Noor Khan has been part of the food industry since 2012. His journey began not in his own shop but working behind the counter in someone else’s. During those early years, Noor discovered a passion, not just for the food, but for the people and the vibrant energy that filled every customer interaction.

Originally from Afghanistan, Noor came to Australia seeking new opportunities and quickly found his calling in hospitality. In 2016, after years of hands-on learning, he opened his first venture, Hastings Kebabs, which he successfully ran for six years before moving on to start Boronia Kebabs. Today, Noor continues to turn his love for food and people into a thriving local business.

Food that feels like home

What makes Boronia Kebabs special isn’t just the flavour-packed food, it’s the warmth and care that comes with every order. Noor prides himself on offering more than just a meal offering an experience where every customer feels like family.

During the COVID-19 pandemic, Noor introduced a generous 20% discount for frontline workers, a gesture that reflected his deep appreciation for the community that has supported his business. This commitment to giving back remains a cornerstone of Boronia Kebabs, continuing to shape the way they serve and connect with their community. Noor’s focus on quality, flexibility, and customer care has earned the business a 4.7-star Google rating, and a loyal customer base that includes families, retirees, and aged care residents.

A welcoming experience every time

Step into Boronia Kebabs, and you’ll be greeted by name if you’re a regular, whether you’re popping in for the first time or just passing through.

Noor’s friendly nature and genuine interest in his customers create an atmosphere where everyone feels welcome.

Customers return not only for the delicious food but for the consistent service and community spirit. Whether it’s a family dinner or a quick bite after a movie, Boronia Kebabs has become a local go-to for good food and good company.

Thriving with the Boronia Community

For Noor, Boronia isn’t just a business location, it’s a community he’s proud to be part of. After living in places like Cranbourne and Officer, he’s found something unique in Boronia, a tight-knit community of supportive traders and loyal customers. He values the connections he’s built with fellow business owners in Dorset Square and draws inspiration from the local spirit that keeps him excited about the future of his business.

Looking ahead

Noor dreams of expanding Boronia Kebabs into an inviting outdoor dining space where friends and families can gather, relax, and enjoy great food in the heart of Boronia. His goal is to grow with the community and create a space that feels just as welcoming as the suburb itself.

More than just kebabs

What Noor wishes more people knew? That Boronia Kebabs is built on more than just serving meals, it’s built on care for the community. From supporting frontline workers to knowing customers by name, every part of the business reflects a desire to give back. As Boronia continues to grow and change, Boronia Kebabs will be there, serving not only delicious food but also serving the spirit of the community that has made the business feel like family.
