From finance to florals
Emily, the visionary behind Miss Molly Floral Design, recognised a gap in the market for beautiful, locally sourced florals and gifts. While working in small business lending, her heart was always with flowers. Inspired by her mother, a florist with over 25 years of experience who still competes and demonstrates, Emily decided to follow her true passion: floristry.
A blossoming career
Emily completed her apprenticeship in 1991 and began her journey at Brentford Square in Forest Hill. Early in her career, she gained invaluable experience working on large-scale events with the Australian POPS Orchestra at Melbourne’s Hamer Hall. Her talent soon led her to become the go-to florist for the production crew of the beloved TV show Neighbours. She also showcased her skills at the Melbourne Flower & Garden Show, captivating audiences with stunning large-scale floral displays.
Finding her place
In 2019, Emily discovered her true home when a shop in Studfield Shopping Centre became available. She knew instantly that she had found her community. More than just a business, Miss Molly Floral Design has become a vibrant local hub, where customers aren’t just customers; they’re neighbors, friends, and family.

Emily is dedicated to sourcing Australian grown flowers, many directly from farms, to ensure the freshest, highest quality blooms.
