Tucked along Burwood Highway in Wantirna South, The Cheesecake Shop Wantirna has been a much-loved local favourite for nearly 20 years. Since opening its doors in 2005, owners Kusumsiri and Mangala have been brightening birthdays, weddings, milestones, and everyday moments with cakes baked with care, creativity, and heart.
A passion that became a family business
Mangala’s love of baking started at home, where she would spend countless hours perfecting cakes that brought joy to family and friends. With Kusumsiri’s support, who was working as an engineer at the time, the pair decided to turn her passion into something bigger. In November 2005, they proudly opened their Cheesecake Shop franchise, combining skill, creativity, and a shared dream to create something meaningful for their community.
