Peng’s journey into the food industry was shaped by determination and resilience. After moving to Australia from Cambodia, he initially worked as a baker but soon realised it wasn’t the right fit. Seeking a new path, he found his passion in the restaurant and takeaway business. When faced with challenges finding employment after school, he decided to carve his own way forward, eventually leading him to open The Basin Fish and Chips.
