Lifeway Physiotherapy Wantirna South

At Lifeway Physiotherapy in Wantirna South, helping people live healthy, active lives isn’t just a job, it’s a passion.

Owner Fiona has always loved helping others, and her journey to opening Lifeway Physiotherapy began overseas in Singapore, where she trained and worked across hospitals, community settings, and not-for-profit organisations. When she moved to Melbourne, she knew she wanted to continue using her skills to make a difference in people’s lives.

“After working in public hospitals here, I decided to take the leap into private practice,” Fiona says.

“I wanted to create a place where people could feel genuinely cared for, listened to, and supported in their recovery.”

Since opening in 2015, Lifeway Physiotherapy has grown from a small branch into a thriving practice in the heart of Wantirna South, complete with treatment rooms and a cosy studio for exercise classes and Clinical Pilates.

A caring and skilled team

At Lifeway Physiotherapy, every client is treated as an individual. Fiona and her friendly team take great pride in providing professional, hands-on care tailored to each person’s needs. “All our therapists are trained in manual therapy,” Fiona explains. “We take time to listen, assess, and treat the root cause of pain or dysfunction, not just the symptoms.”

The clinic also works closely with GPs, sports physicians, and specialists to ensure clients receive the best possible care and advice.

Their approach is guided by strong core values, Excellence, Teamwork, Accountability, Integrity, Empowerment, Empathy, and Ambition, which shape everything they do.

A welcoming space for every body

Clients visiting Lifeway Physiotherapy can expect a warm, welcoming environment with friendly staff and plenty of parking right out front. Whether you’re recovering from an injury, managing a chronic condition, or wanting to improve your strength and flexibility, you’ll find expert care in a calm and supportive space.

Many clients say they love the clinic’s relaxed atmosphere and personal touch. “Our team genuinely cares about our clients,” Fiona says. “It’s the small things, listening, remembering names, celebrating progress, that make a difference.”

Proudly part of the Wantirna South community

Fiona says one of the best parts of running her business is being part of the Wantirna South community.

“It’s such a beautiful, leafy suburb,” she says. “We’ve built great relationships with our neighbours, like the team at Anytime Fitness next door, and we love the cafes nearby too, it’s such a nice area to work in.”

Over the years, Lifeway has built strong connections with local residents, who often refer friends and family after experiencing positive results. “We’re so grateful to our customers,” Fiona says. “Knowing we’ve made a difference in their lives gives us the motivation to keep going.”

Looking ahead

As Lifeway Physiotherapy continues to grow, Fiona remains focused on one thing, which is helping more people move better and live well. "We want to reach more clients in this lovely neighbourhood and continue to provide the highest standard of care,” she says. “Helping people get back to doing what they love, that’s what drives us every day.”
