Quality equipment, community vibes, and real recovery
Reps Fitness – Bayswater
For James, the fitness industry has always been about more than just heavy lifting, it’s about how quality equipment and good maintenance support a person's training journey. Having spent over 15 years in the fitness industry, from personal training and gym management to equipment servicing and commercial gym fit-outs, James knew what made a gym succeed and what members were often missing.
After establishing his commercial gym equipment business, Premier Fitness Supply, in 2026 James brought his extensive technical background together to open Reps Fitness in Bayswater. Built on a foundation of premium gear, maintenance first standards, and dedicated recovery facilities, Reps Fitness was created to offer local residents an independent, welcoming 24/7 community space to train without the crowd or stress.
A maintenance first mindset
What makes Reps Fitness stand out the moment you walk through the door? Beyond the high end strength and cardio equipment, it’s the meticulous care taken with every machine.
"Having spent years as a gym technician, I know that quality equipment is only as good as the care it receives," says James. "We prioritise preventative maintenance and clean, well functioning machinery so our members can train with total confidence every single workout."
To keep the atmosphere comfortable and accessible, Reps maintains capped memberships and flexible contracts, ensuring members never have to fight for equipment during peak hours.
The total package
Recognising that rest and recovery are just as crucial as the workout itself, Reps Fitness has integrated dedicated recovery options directly into the facility:
Infrared sauna: To soothe muscles and aid circulation.
Ice bath / cold plunge: For post-session inflammation control and mental resilience.
Compression boot therapy: Perfect for flushing fatigue after a heavy training block.
Whether you're an experienced lifter targeting a new personal best or someone taking their very first steps into a gym, having recovery tools right alongside 24/7 access makes sticking to a routine seamless.
Built on local support and community connection
Located directly opposite Bayswater train station at 32-34 Station Street, Reps sits right in the heart of the suburb's vibrant local hub, surrounded by neighbouring cafes and local shops.
For James, bringing Reps to life was a major personal milestone that took grit, perseverance, and strong support.
"Opening Reps has been an incredible journey, and I’m deeply grateful to my fiancée, Kubra, who stood by me through every challenge to get us here," James shares. "The welcome we’ve received from local members and neighbouring business owners in Bayswater has been incredible. We want Reps to be a space where people build confidence, achieve their goals, and feel genuinely supported."
