At Always Hear, Jacqueline and Gerald are on a mission to ensure everyone has access to high-quality hearing care. With clinics in Ferntree Gully and Officer, their independent hearing practice is dedicated to helping people reconnect with the world around them. 

 

Helping others hear 

Always Hear was born from a shared passion for making a difference. While working in a large corporation, Jacqueline and Gerald discovered their aligned vision of providing personalised and community-focused hearing care. Taking a leap of faith, they opened their first clinic in Scoresby Village in August 2022. As demand grew, they expanded to a second clinic in Officer and later relocated their Scoresby clinic to Mountain Gate Shopping Centre, where they now operate with an even larger space and a growing team. 

 

Expertise and experience you can trust 

Jacqueline brings extensive experience in client engagement across multiple sectors, including hearing services, real estate, and childcare. Her work in managing hearing clinics has shaped her passion for community outreach and ensuring individuals receive the highest quality care. 

 

Gerald, a fully accredited audiologist with a Master of Clinical Audiology from the University of Melbourne, has worked with major industry providers in metropolitan and regional areas. His dedication to hearing health extends beyond Australia, volunteering internationally in Malawi, providing audiology services to over 1,000 underserved adults and children, mentoring students, and fitting donated hearing aids to those in need. 

 

A personalised approach to hearing care 

Always Hear stands out because of its independent status, unlike some providers, they are not aligned with specific hearing aid manufacturers. This allows them to offer a wide range of brands and solutions tailored to each individual’s needs.

They also provide home visits and services to nursing homes, aged care facilities, and residential care communities, ensuring that those who need care the most receive it in the comfort of their own space. Their team also trains care staff at partner facilities to help them better support residents in using and maintaining their hearing devices. 

 

A commitment to community and care 

With strong roots in the South Eastern suburbs, Always Hear services over 50 different retirement villages and homes. Their focus on aftercare ensures that every client receives ongoing support to make the most of their hearing devices. Customers often praise the warmth, dedication, and expertise of the team, noting how they go above and beyond to ensure every individual feels heard and valued.

 For Jacqueline and Gerald, Mountain Gate is much more than just a location, it is a community that holds deep meaning for them. The local businesses provide everything the community needs, and the warm reception they’ve received has reinforced their decision to establish their clinic here. They value the knowledge and friendliness of their clients, who continue to inspire them every day.
